Geneva Crêpe Café Bistro

The Saint Andrew's Presbyterian Church

We were feeling a little adventurous so we got the black forest ice cream to go with a combination of crepes with chocolate ganache, bananas, strawberries and maple syrup. Was a bad choice, we should have stuck to chocolate or vanilla ice cream. The crepes were alright, I thought they could have been more generous with the chocolate ganache and the scoop of ice cream.

That at the corner is Timmy's! Sometimes I stop by to grab a very affordable cup of Hot Chocolate. The timmy's hot chocolate isn't like the French kind of Laduree thick chocolate beverage. Its much for diluted like milo that you get from Vending Machines. Perhaps that's how people like it here. I'm alright drinking it cos anything warm's good in the cold.

And yes we have deviated from the Crepes. I think the crepes here are alright but there's nothing to boast about. I've had better crepes before. Check out Casse-Crêpe Breton (Quebec City) in this post.

The space is small. If you're gonna go in a group make sure to make a reservation before hand if not you're gonna have to sit by the window. It can be nice by the window if you're alone, but when you're with a group of friends you'd wanna talk and sitting on those high chairs just isn't comfortable.

I remember feeling that the amount we ate didn't quite match the amount we paid. Me being a miserly student felt it was too pricey.

Its located at the corner of Clergy and Princess Streets, beside Macdonalds.
