This harpist travels all around Old Quebec performing. He was totally enthusiastic in selling his CDs. They were all wrapped up nicely, like they were professionally recorded. He showed us how each album is different; some are oldies, some jazz, some love themed, some spiritual. And even played a piece from each album to aid us in selecting which album to buy. Really awesome how he memorised all the chords of each song. I love his spontaneity!
I went home to listen to the album and it was delightful to listen to, although the recording quality wasn't tip-top. Had I known the recording was of this quality I would still buy the album. It cost like 15CAD an album or something. But if you get more I'm sure he'll quote you a better price.
Buying stuff from buskers is such a touristy thing to do. Haha. #guilty

Horse Tours going all around Old Quebec. They're such a pleasant sight :)
This was taken on a separate day where it suddenly got cold. The leaves on the tree turned from Red to Yellow as well. Having come from Singapore, a small city in the equatorial region with tropical climate (oh gosh. All that Geog.) these Autumn colours were the things that made my day :) Locals were roaming the streets less and less because of the chilly winds but here we were out and too excited about the changing weather :)
Sometimes when we are overseas, we appreciate certain things more than locals. That's cos they're used to it and it's become part and parcel of their lives. It wasn't till I first experienced a tropical storm 2 months after I returned to Singapore (we got hit by an unlikely drought) that I realised I missed those huge heavy raindrops.

And, the souvenir stores start appearing. We've now come to the lower town where le petite champlain is located :) Read here for the post on lower town.
