Montreal is a big city in the Quebec province and most people there speak French and English. It's also home to several universities such as UofMontreal, McGill, and Concordia. Montreal is said to be the food haven of Canada :) I read an article and it said something along the lines of 'if there's gonna be a Michelin Star Restaurant, its gotta be in Montreal'. :)
I got to Montreal from Kingston on the Megabus route and it cost me $35 bucks. As mentioned earlier in the
megabus post, the earlier you get your tickets, the cheaper they'd be.

Megabus Route from Kingston to Montreal |
So this place is a little tricky. You get dropped off the megabus from where the star is and you've got to walk up a steep slope to Station Bonaventure. x.x If only there was an underpass or something.
I was heading to M Montreal and thankfully it was just a couple of stops on the same subway line. :) That luggage wasn't easy to handle.

Reception |
So I arrived at my hostel! The area wasn't too quiet at night so that was nice. At least it felt safe. :) These rooms were very clean and the attached bathroom was really spacious, its almost half the side of this room. there were little lamps too so that I could sleep in peace :)
Large Attached Bathroom. Tub and shower. Ceiling Fans. Air Conditioning. Personal Lamps. Daily Cleaning. Mirror. Power Socket at each bedside. Personal Locker.

The Basement |
So, there are two kitchens. The one on the lobby floor is where you can prepare your own food and store perishables. Then downstairs, there's a whole basement that's a bar at night and is the breakfast place in the morning. The kitchen downstairs is for staff to prepare your food. :)

If you'd like to check out the rest of their rooms visit

I enjoyed staying in M Montreal because of its
proximity to the train station and its awesome facilities and generous
breakfast. J It wasn’t expensive either and if you’re arriving
in a group, I think they have a 16 bed room and the more people in the room the
more affordable.

Absolute Necessity |
I got this map from the Tourist Office near Rue Saint Catherine but if the hostel has it you should get it from them!
