Whenever I travel, I make it a point to visit the local market just to see how locals live. :) Nothing's more genuine than seeing locals go about their daily chores getting groceries. The closest subway is station Jean Talon.
There's so much to see here! I can't imagine what grocery shopping here would feel like. I'd be spoilt for choice haha. Store owners were very generous in sharing their produce evident from the huge chunks of fruit at the tasting station. And those fruits were oh so sweet!
This market was so huge I spent 15 mins walking around fruits and it was still fruits I saw. I'm sure they sell other stuff and have a wet market too, other than that, I found a candy shops :) This market sells everything you'll need :)
