So, i got up bright and early for a slow morning walk to Casa Loma, Canada's majestic castle.

Casa Loma |
Its a small castle located north of downtown toronto. Well, its not small small, afterall its a castle. But by castle standards in europe, this seemed small to me.

Grand Hall |
The financier who owned this place loved gardens so much he made his own indoor garden to admire them during the winter months in Canada. Spent a tonne installing air-conditioning for the plants.

View from the tower |
The landscape of Toronto must have changed quite abit since this castle as built because much of the view was blocked by greenery, and it didn't quite justify my climb up that narrow staircase to get here.

I don't remember much of this castle. Perhaps because it wasn't as spectacular as I thought it would be. If you haven't been to a castle, this would be alright.. but if you've been to european castles, this just isn't as exciting. For the most part, it wasn't exactly big neither did it house a museum and most artifacts mentioned in the audio guide was sold during the great depression. Another thing, one of the two towers which are famed to give good view of downtown toronto was under construction.
It wasn't cheap either. Cost me $21 CAD if I'm not wrong. And there were no student discounts. The marketing for this attraction was good but it was a disappointing morning. I'd say, check out other reviews online before deciding if you wanna go.
